What do you do when confronted by a small girl who hates having her picture taken and insists on crying and not looking at the camera? The answer is simple. Use trickery, and strange manipulative techniques. Long story. But it all turned out ok in the end. I guess.

Blah. Wedding.

I feel I have been neglecting this blog as of late. I just haven't felt too excited about any photos I have taken. So, just to keep things moving forward here are a few quirky, or otherwise amusing moments from last weeks wedding.












Now that is a fashion statement I can get behind. I don't know why, but it sort of turns me on just a little bit.

A Moment of Good Luck

One of the most difficult things to do in photography is to take a picture of 2 or more people where everyone is looking at the camera and no one is blinking, or looking awkward. So when I happen to get lucky and accomplish this feat, on the very first try, I start feeling very accomplished.

Can you guess what I said to these girls to get them all to smile so beautifully at the same time?





Then, later at that wedding, I was graced by this wonderful rainbow. I only had about 30 seconds to deal with it before it faded away, so it's no great masterpiece. But it makes me happy anyway.
