These were an experiment in taking a digital file into the chemical darkroom. My friend Jake gets most of the credit for figuring it all out. The first shot is the original digital file. The second one is just converted to B/w but with a fake 'Kodak Safety Film' border thrown on just for fun. Then I inverted it and printed it negative on regular computer paper, which I then contact printed onto darkroom paper. It was time consuming. Of course, when you're a lab aide in a neglected college darkroom, there is plenty of time to consume.
